State of Workforce Mental Health Report 2025
The 2025 State of Workforce Mental Health Report highlights that stress is the top mental health challenge globally, with untreated issues costing employers significantly. Surveys of over 7,500 employees and 500 HR leaders across six countries reveal that 44% of employees cite stress as their primary mental health concern, and 34% of HR leaders identify burnout as a major workplace issue-a 42% increase from the previous year. Workplace stressors, including high workloads and a “do more with less” mentality, exacerbate mental health struggles, with 62% feeling pressured to work despite burnout.
