UK Cybersecurity Census Report
Keeper’s 2022 UK Cybersecurity Census, based on 512 IT leaders, shows businesses face 44 cyberattacks annually on average, with 17% suffering over 500. Attacks cause major harm: 35% disrupt trading, 34% damage reputation, and 21% result in stolen money, often exceeding £100,000 in losses. Yet only 26% feel well-prepared, and 61% say responses take longer. Gaps remain, with 35% lacking secrets management and 29% lacking secure remote access solutions. While 68% expect budgets to grow, cultural issues persist, as 55% of IT leaders admitted hiding attacks, underscoring the urgent need for transparency, education, and zero-trust practices.
