Keeper Security’s 2025 survey of 160 cybersecurity professionals highlights identity-based attacks as the top breach concern, with 23% citing phishing and credential stuffing, followed by insider threats and legacy vulnerabilities. Despite high awareness, 72% still reuse passwords, 61% store them insecurely, and only 29% use password managers, while 65% remain unfamiliar with passkeys. Zero trust adoption is uneven: 44% haven’t started, 29% face major gaps, and only 19% report effective implementation. Confidence in handling AI-powered threats is low at 12%. Users prioritize ease of use, centralized control, cross-device access, and zero-knowledge encryption.
