Economic uncertainty has stalled cybersecurity progress, with 51% reporting misalignment between business and security goals. Nearly 80% experienced negative effects—mainly budget cuts, delayed strategic decisions, and reduced investment. While 44% report strong alignment, it remains moderate compared to top-performing countries. The report urges UK&I leaders to strengthen collaboration, ensure economic pressures don’t derail security efforts, and align cyber priorities with business objectives.
