Telehealth surged during COVID-19, with 89% of HCPs reporting adoption in their practices, often accelerated by waived regulations and insurer support. While only 15% of HCPs found the technology personally difficult, 42% noted usability issues among patients. Post-pandemic, 53% of specialists and 43% of PCPs plan to continue or expand telehealth use. Comfort with prescribing via telehealth is high, with 75% of HCPs equally or nearly as confident as in-person visits. Telehealth is now seen as vital for improving access, managing chronic conditions, and reducing travel burdens, though patient tech barriers remain.
