Seer rewrote the footer and within ~36 hours ChatGPT 5 reflected the new messaging. Takeaways: treat site real estate (nav, footer) as brand signal; prioritize what you want to be known for; increase the share of citations you control on your own domain; and cultivate friendly third-party citations you can update.
