Seattle Area Client Seattle, WA Arc ash study of the complete Airport STS system and to develop options for arc ash reduction for the A Concourse STEP switchgears which were found to have an extremely high arc ash energy. Harris Group was responsible for eld investigation, modeling in EasyPower, performing the arc ash study, developing mitigation options, and providing the results in reports. The Challenge: Due to unmaintained records the STS system layout was unclear. There were several copies of one-line drawings each showing slightly dierent congurations.
