American West Restaurant Group (AWRG), the largest Pizza Hut franchisee in California, aimed to achieve over 15% energy savings across its restaurant network by 2015. Partnering with EcoEnergy Insights, they implemented the Connected Restaurant Program using the CORTIX™ Building IoT platform. Over four years, this initiative saved 7.2 million kWh, reduced CO2 emissions by 5,900 tons, and maintained high food storage compliance and occupant comfort.
