The 2023 GenAI Survey of 2,000 U.S. employees reveals widespread enthusiasm but also contradictions around adoption. Nearly 90% have heard of GenAI, with 86% wanting it in the workplace and 56% believing it could save them an hour daily. Yet 54% report their companies lack AI policies, and half of those banned from using it still do so. Consumers are eager for GenAI in support and ecommerce, with 79% open to AI-driven service, but 93% voice concerns over privacy and accuracy, with 73% prioritizing result accuracy. Despite doubts, 40% would recommend GenAI, expecting it to deliver faster, more personalized, and trustworthy digital experiences.
