Gen Z is most affected, with 65% citing mental health struggles and 52% labeling their workplace toxic. CEOs, though optimistic, face burnout and a 24-point jump in self-reported mental health issues. Stigma remains, with over two-thirds believing companies view mental health issues as weakness. Employees increasingly demand empathetic benefits like flexibility and wellness days, yet large gaps persist between what’s valued and what’s offered, leaving empathy in high demand but low in execution.
