Back2Business from Fiserv, launched in 2020 with a $50 million commitment, has provided over 1,600 grants to minority-owned businesses, helping 41% avoid closing and 17% avoid layoffs. All surveyed recipients said the grant positively impacted their business, with 70% reporting improved business prospects for 2023. Grants were mainly used for paying staff (52%), rent (46%), marketing (45%), purchasing inventory (41%), and investing in technology (28%). While 96% remain in business, 52% still face funding challenges, showing the ongoing need for support.
