Rapidity shifted from high-volume work to high-value custom print and needed compact, versatile, energy-efficient presses. As shown on pages 1–2, it installed four Xerox Iridesse Production Presses, gaining CMYK plus specialty inks, automation through FreeFlow Core and personalization via XMPie. The presses fit the refurbished facility, were deployed in a weekend and delivered major improvements in quality, speed and reliability. Rapidity cut energy use by 60 percent while expanding premium services like metallics, fluorescents and prototype packaging.
