Client: Wisconsin Department of Transportation Location: Sheboygan County, Wisconsin Prior to the reconstruction of STH 67 through downtown Plymouth, Wisconsin DOT and the City of Plymouth requested a study of alternatives routes. The existing roadway routed trucks through narrow streets and tight turns in a commercial area, but avoided an at-grade crossing with a railroad. The alternative route avoids the commercial area, but requires traffic to cross the railroad. The alternative route study by Donohue included traffic counts, a signal warrant analysis, utility, right-of-way and hazardous material review, and development of conceptual plans for both options.
