STAFF ONBOARDING
When Superintendent Dr. Brad Lancaster wanted to welcome a group of new staff to his district at the beginning of the school year, he decided to make it easier for them to hit the ground running by using Thoughtexchange. A week before the annual back-to-school Convocation event, Dr. Lancaster launched an exchange with current staff to share their top tips for new staff to get them started on the right foot in the district. “During the event, I asked all staff members who were new to our district this year to stand and be recognized,” Dr. Lancaster says. “I then shared the ‘T op 10’ pieces of advice from their long-tenure colleagues. “Although this was just a fun event for the group, the feedback was exceptional and fun.
