Redevelopment Of A Former Granary Building Situated Adjacent To The Grand Union Canal And London King’s Cross Station
KKB GROUP INNOVATIVE REGENERATION SERVICES KKB Remediation Limited were involved in the redevelopment of a former granary building situated adjacent to the Grand Union Canal and London King’s Cross Station. The Grade II listed former industrial complex is being converted into a new University campus for Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. The initial phase of works was to remove the central area of the building which was being used as an indoor go kart circuit. The central area was broken out to a depth of 2m and materials were crushed, screened and recycled for reuse as construction materials elsewhere on site.
