Providence aimed to enhance healthcare training by creating an immersive, accessible learning experience for staff. Partnering with Evercoast, they developed the Providence Upmmersiv* Studio, using Intel® RealSense cameras and Evercoast’s volumetric video platform to capture 3D models of actors for augmented reality (AR) training. The content is processed on Evercoast’s cloud platform powered by Intel® Xeon® processor-based AWS instances with AI acceleration. This AR-enabled solution allows caregivers and leaders to learn and practice skills anytime, anywhere, and has resulted in a scalable, engaging training system with a 30% increase in rendering performance using 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® processors.
