To operate safely, efficiently, and productively, organizations reliant on a deskless workforce must ensure they have robust learning and development plans and capabilities in place to ensure their employees are adequately trained. Employee skill sets must remain up to date and at a level to do their jobs competently. Yet, challenges abound. Equipment, vehicles, systems, and workplaces are growing in complexity. Traditional training approaches fail to keep up with the pace of change while a skills gap often develops within in many workplaces as experienced workers retire, and younger employees enter the workforce less equipped.
