At the University of Oklahoma, Randy Moore integrated KnowBe4’s PhishER platform with security awareness training to protect nearly 50,000 users across three campuses. PhishER helps the incident response team process large volumes of user-reported emails via the Phish Alert Button, using machine learning to classify messages and prioritize threats. In just six months, PhishER removed nearly 150,000 malicious emails before users could interact with them. The PhishRIP feature scans for similar threats and quarantines them, while automated user feedback improves reporting accuracy and engagement, reinforcing a campus-wide security culture.
