CASE STUDY NORTHERN LINCOLNSHIRE AND GOOLE HOSPITALS NHS TRUST PROVIDING A CYCLE HUB FOR STAFF AT GOOLE HOSPITAL East Riding Council working with the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Trust wanted to encourage the staff at Goole Hospital to cycle to work not only for the health benefits, but also to reduce parking congestion on the site. The Trust had other cycle compounds on hospitals sites and wanted this new bike compound to be ‘in-keeping’ with the facilities at other hospitals. THE SOLUTION Lockit-Safe designed a bespoke cycle compound for the hospital with mesh on the bottom half, for security and Polycarbonate on the top half. The cycle compound had card reader access control and included full graphics on all sides to ‘signpost’ the shelter and its purpose to staff.
