CASE STUDY IMPROVING HIGH STREET CYCLE PARKING IN FALKIRK Lockit-safe were commissioned to upgrade and improve the on-street cycle parking facilities in Falkirk town centre. Some provision did exist but this was not only inadequate it had also been incorrectly installed by a previous supplier who had positioned the cycle racks too close together and so limiting the number of cycle spaces they provided. OUR SOLUTION We removed the old cycle parking and recycled the materials. We replaced and added new bike racksproviding cycle parking spaces for 50 bikes. The racks were all black powder coated and were a mixture of plain sub-surface mounted Sheffield stands and bespoke laser cut designed racks.
