IP telephony, UC and contact centre solution What we did After meeting with various members of the trust, including key contact centre workers, telecoms leaders and business strategists, the principal challenges were identified. They included a migration of the workforce from traditional large offices to smaller multi skilled groups, and government targets relating to the 111 vs. 999 service. As the trust had a legacy Nortel estate that had performed well, it was a logical progression to migrate to an IP based Avaya solution, based on the Aura platforms and technologies, incorporating a comprehensive contact centre to offer an improved service.
