CBRE did not have an avenue for peer-to-peer recognition and annual awards before. After two years of implementing Thanks, there was a rise of 60% usage of the peer recognition feature across the organization, with annual awards implemented for all employees. Managers started to reward employees much more frequently than in the previous program. An overall employee engagement score went “up 12% which was a huge gain” in the first year of implementation of Thanks.
