ERCOT used Seeq alongside the PI System and Asset Framework to identify price-responsive electrical loads within the Texas grid. Faced with hundreds of assets and years of data, the team applied capsule logic to detect high-price events and correlate them with load drops. Automated asset swapping and scripted analysis replaced manual spreadsheet reviews. The project uncovered specific loads reacting to price signals and enabled real-time control room visibility, improving situational awareness and market operations insight.
