A Florida municipality was receiving odor complaints from their neighbors although the head works were covered and scrubbed. They elected to add a simple odor neutralization system in addition to the existing scrubbers. A waterless vapor HLDA 300 odor neutralizer unit was placed at the base of the head works with a 3” diameter perforated hose installed around the aluminum covers. The system was delivered, installed and operating the same day by a single mechanic. The plant is now using two 5 -gallon pails of odor neutralizing product per month for 24/7 operation.
