City of Medford Medford, OR Medford Water Commission’s domestic water treatment plant was operating with an obsolete SCADA software platform. The control system upgrade included conversion to a new, supported software as well as specication, conguration, and commissioning of new computer hardware. Additionally, new daily and monthly reports were converted from Microsoft Access to GE Procy historian with a user- friendly Microsoft Excel interface for retrieval of historical data. Finally, remote desktop access was incorporated for future troubleshooting and development to reduce travel time and expense.
