Skagit Valley College Mt. Vernon, WA The existing Tarro Theatre at Skagit Valley College is approximately 11,000 square feet of stage, theatre seating, oce space, back-stage and supporting spaces for this use. Relocating existing oce spaces allowed for creation of a larger interior lobby, washed in natural daylight by a new window wall. The theatre, including the original seating, was renewed. The Challenge: An essentially internal remodel of a 1950’s building, housing the College’s 200-seat theatre. This included extension of the current sprinkler system and analysis for the new HVAC systems for connection to the Campus DDC system.
