Whatcom County PUD Ferndale, WA Whatcom County PUD No. 1 supports industrial and municipal customers near Bellingham, Washington, with electricity and water. Harris Group provided SCADA standards and design for the improvement of their water treatment control system. The Challenge: Whatcom Co. PUD had an aging SCADA system based on a platform that was no longer supported by its manufacturer. The PUD needed to select a new platform that would be supportable, maintainable, and easily operable.
