KKB GROUP INNOVATIVE REGENERATION SERVICES Following a competitive tendering process KKB Remediation Limited were appointed to build a one kilometre spine road to service the 30-acre Principal Park development on the former GlaxoSmithKline site in Crawley, West Sussex. The new road links the Manor Royal/ Faraday Road junction at the north end of the development with the Crawley Avenue dual carriageway in the south. The design and build project included adopted foul and surface water drainage, gas, water and ducting services, capping and subbase, a combined kerb/drainage system, asphalt surfacing, road markings, footpaths and street lighting. The works also included upgrading the existing Manor Royal junction which involved widened pedestrian crossings and footpaths, new traffic
