Improvement of RAFO Khasab Airport; MOD/2011/095 Facts Project Description Widening, partly reconstruction, extension of the existing runway and provision of turn pads at each end as well as resurfacing/reconstruction of existing runway with slight extension at the south end with four taxi links to apron and two taxiways to runway. The works also include a new Cargo Centre and offices, provision of perimeter walls for existing Cargo Office as well as an extension of the Fire Station together with two offices for the Fire Station. Construction, supply and installation of the equipment for transformer stations and buildings for cargo handling.
