About the customer The challenge Sanoma Media Netherlands is the largest media company in the Netherlands, part of Sanoma Group. Sanoma Group with operations in over 10 European countries offers content in various media, from print magazines and newspapers to digital media, radio and television, and is among the top five European magazine publishers. Sanoma already had an app Tijdschrift.nl, which provided their readers with access to 75 Dutch publications under a single subscription. However, the app only existed for iOS, had limited functionality and was unstable. It allowed reading only PDF replicas and also crashed frequently.
