GREEN RESTAURANT CERTIFICATION CASE STUDY The Green Restaurant Association (GRA) is a national, non-profit organization with the mission to shift the restaurant industry toward ecological sustainability. Certification for each location is based on an accumulation of points in each of the GRA’s seven environmental categories: Green Restaurant Certification, Boston University and University of California, Irvine Boston University (BU) boasts seven dining locations, including residential dining locations, a retail food court, bakery and a late-night restaurant, as Green Restaurant Certified.
