GMG Radio – The Accelerate Leadership Programme The brief: GMG Radio was the radio division of one of the UK’s premium media businesses, Guardian Media Group, prior to its sale in 2013. Alongside developing a strategic group of thinkers in the business, the board was keen to encourage a leadership team that was open to change and encouraged development and growth in their people. They wanted a leadership development programme that was aspirational and inspirational yet highly practical. The programme: Inspire ran the second Radio Accelerate programme in 2012-13, after designing the initial programme in 2012.
