Klaverblad, a Dutch insurance company, modernized its outdated identity system by adopting Thales’ cloud-based B2B Identity and Access Management platform. The change was driven by the national phase-out of the Digital Passport and the shift to the eHerkenning eID scheme. The Thales OneWelcome platform introduced secure SSO, two-factor authentication, and delegation management, allowing Klaverblad and its partners to control user access efficiently. The new system enhanced compliance with GDPR, improved onboarding, and centralized digital identity management. Pleased with the success, Klaverblad plans to expand the platform to include CIAM for consumers and mobile app and eSigning features.
