Cuckfield Waste Water Treatment Works Background Cuckfield Waste Water Treatment Works serves the local area in West Sussex. Southern Water were upgrading the works to reduce the risk to the discharge permit. The Overall Objective The site had a small footprint available in an area with high bedrock and needed to reduce their costs. Solution SPS were approached to provide a cost effective solution that would upgrade the existing treatment works. As a result 2 HB50R Lamella Clarifiers providing a settlement of 100m3. SPS installed the units with walkways within a footprint of only 30m2. The system treated flows 43m3/hr and helped to reduce the flow through the existing systems.
