The Employer Command of Military Works, an entity of the Armed Forces of the UAE has concluded the turnkey, design and build contract on 1st May 2012. The scope of works - similar to the Khalifa Port Project in Abu Dhabi, but on a smaller scale - includes seven utility buildings (Substation/transformers, STP and lifting station with a total area of 2,792 m2), structures for the supply and discharge of medias, such as but not limited to stormwater, sewage water, power with different ratings, chilled water, firewater, the related infrastructural works, roads and pavement.
