THE PROBLEM The Stable Range and Lodgings are set within the grounds of Edmondthorpe Hall in Leicestershire. These historical Grade II listed buildings with Ashlar stone dressings and Swithland slate roofs, were suffering from structural cracking affecting several external walls. Protectahome were consulted and asked to prepare a schedule of remedial repairs to overcome the problems being experienced. Following a detailed inspection, we identified that the external walls needed tying back to the internal walls and corner stitching would be required. In addition, the main double doors giving access to the stable had a defective timber lintel. THE SOLUTION A schedule of repairs was prepared that incorporated the use of the Cintec Anchor System.
