Cardiff University implemented Service Works Global’s QFM facilities management software to streamline maintenance across its extensive estate, which includes over 300 buildings and 400,000 m² of floor space. The outdated CAFM system was replaced with QFM, enabling digital job tracking, improved reporting, and efficient contractor coordination. The introduction of QFM Mobile further optimized workflows by allowing real-time job updates via handheld devices. Future plans include expanding QFM Web access to external contractors and university staff for enhanced transparency and efficiency. This transformation has significantly improved maintenance management, reduced administrative workload, and strengthened performance insights across the university.
