Case Study: Cannon Equipment Wireless Sales Enablement Challenge Cannon Equipment is a Minnesota based manufacturer that designs and builds retail merchandising systems including front-end checkout fixtures. To help accelerate commercialization of their innovative VersaGridTM modular wire merchandising system for grocery retailers Cannon engaged Ascension. Solution Ascension was challenged to develop a customized web-based technology application that would enable Cannon field sales reps to configure retailer specific front-of-house merchandising systems as part of the face-to-face sales process and wirelessly communicate the order to Cannon’s Tennessee based manufacturing facility.
