A small seaside resort community used large biological lagoons to treat wastewater. Considering the seasonal nature of the community, this treatment worked for many years. Once the community had been discovered, more condominiums were built and increased flow to the lagoons began to create odors. The large perimeter of the lagoon and lack of availability of clean water made the waterless air -driven odor control system the logical, most efficient solution to the odor problem. Two trailer mounted odor controls systems were brought in and attached to 3,000 feet of 4” air piping, which had been installed along the fence between the community and the lagoons.
