Beach Club Resort | Volkert Location: Gulf Shores, AL Client: Fort Morgan Paradise JV The Beach Club is an eighty-acre, multi-use, beach-front resort in Gulf Shores, Alabama built with single-family lots, a village center, six multi-unit condominium towers, a restaurant/swim/ tennis center, and commercial areas. Volkert provided key survey, planning, design, and inspection services to help realize the development. Additionally, Volkert provided environmental surveys, a Natural Hazards Study, planning and landscape architecture, and planting, pavilion, and beach walkover design. One of the firm’s important contributions focused on a big challenge from a small creature: the Alabama Beach Mouse, a protected species.
