A flagship new bus station helping to ‘Connect Leicester’ For this prestigious £13.5m scheme, we acted as lead designer for the highways, civil engineering, public realm and both structural and M&E engineering. The new station is an integral part of the ‘Connecting Leicester’ vision and will dramatically improve bus services alongside revitalising a run-down part of the city. We were appointed by the City Council following our involvement in the award winning re-development of Leicester’s city centre pedestrian zone. The regeneration we achieved there was continued in the delivery of this complex project to integrate a new bus interchange with highway upgrades, provision for taxi ranks and blue badge parking and significant improvements to the public realm.
