On behalf of the East of England Co-operative we constructed a new housing development on the grounds of the old Co-op dairy site and situated next to the existing co-op food store with flats above and a chapel of rest. The project involved the erection of 7 new dwellings consisting of three bedroom houses split into 3 blocks, 1 block of three houses and 2 blocks of two houses all with rear gardens and parking areas. The ground works consisted of vibro piling, reinforced concrete ground beams, drainage, service ducts, masonry and installation of pre-cast block and beam floor.
