NTT DATA Group is advancing its sustainability management under its 2023 holding structure, aiming for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. The company validated the power efficiency of 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and Intel® Xeon® 6 processors with E-cores using Java-based web applications. Results showed up to 7% lower power use with OPM 2.0 enabled, and Intel Xeon 6 with E-cores achieved up to 51% power savings and 89% better performance-per-watt at low loads. These insights support NTT DATA’s sustainability goals and future green IT system proposals.
