Samsung Medison used the Intel® Geti™ platform to accelerate AI model training for NerveTrack™, an ultrasound feature that detects nerves in real time during anesthesia. Traditionally, doctors annotated images using engineer-focused tools, making the process slow and difficult. With Intel Geti’s intuitive interface and AI-assisted annotation, doctors quickly labeled tens of thousands of images, reducing time and improving accuracy. The annotated data trained new models for nerve detection in the elbow, shoulder, and neck, optimized with the Intel® OpenVINO™ toolkit, and deployed on Samsung’s ultrasound machines for enhanced real-time performance.
