2017 Workplace Stress Report
Udemy’s 2017 Workplace Stress Report highlights the rising stress levels among American workers, with Millennials being the most affected. While 52% of all workers feel more stressed than a year ago, 66% of Millennials report being stressed most of the time. Key stressors include fear of job loss to automation, changing job requirements, and bad management. Despite upskilling efforts, many workers feel unprepared, especially in soft skills, which are essential for future leadership roles. Companies are encouraged to invest in personalized training, wellness initiatives, and leadership development to reduce stress and improve employee retention.
