The great training divide: C-suite vs employee
A significant divide exists between executives and employees regarding workplace training. While 42% of C-level executives report increased training opportunities compared to only 17% of entry-level employees, this disparity highlights greater access to personalized and relevant programs for those higher in the corporate ladder. Executives are also more likely to describe training as enjoyable (3x more than employees) but paradoxically view it as a chore more often (64% vs. 24%). Additionally, 88% of executives have flexible training options compared to 37% of employees, emphasizing a gap that challenges Learning and Development (L&D) teams to bridge differing perspectives on meaningful training.
