A CYPHER Learning survey of 4,543 workers highlights the transformative impact of AI, with 78% believing it will affect their roles within two years, and 38% expecting to retrain due to job obsolescence. While 73% view AI skills as critical over the next five years, only 25% have received training. Disparities persist, with women, older workers, and those in manual roles less likely to benefit from AI. Despite concerns about job security (45%) and aging out of the workforce (57% of over-55s), 62% see AI improving their roles, and 46% find it makes their jobs easier. Continuous, inclusive training is essential to bridge the AI digital divide.
