Conduent demonstrates its commitment to sustainability through one of its primary data centers in New Jersey, which houses one of the largest privately owned net-metered solar projects in the Western Hemisphere. The facility spans 67 acres and generates 14.1MW of solar power through 57,652 panels, helping offset emissions equal to 2,486 passenger vehicles annually. Additional eco-friendly features include onsite rainwater collection, heat exchangers for cooling, and advanced monitoring systems. By consolidating 27 older data facilities into three high-efficiency centers and recycling over 36,000 pieces of electronic equipment globally last year, Conduent significantly reduced energy use, equipment needs, and carbon footprint.
