A survey in eight countries revealed high popularity of digital receipts, with most consumers preferring them within banking apps for convenience and organization. Interest in managing merchant interactions, such as refunds, subscriptions, and loyalty programs, via banking apps is strong, especially in Singapore, Brazil, and Spain. Ease of use is a critical factor, particularly for older consumers, and many respondents indicated they would switch banks if such innovative features were not offered.
