UK wealth managers are increasingly exploring generative AI, with over half seeing its potential and 30% already running proofs of concept. All but one full-service brokerage surveyed is engaged with GenAI in some form. While no large firms have implemented production use cases, interest is strong, with four large firms and six small firms actively exploring applications. Eleven out of 20 firms plan to invest over $25 million in GenAI in the next few years, indicating serious commitment. Engagement varies by firm type, size, and budget, but momentum is clearly building.
